This is the last 4 weeks of the Summer Classic 5-month training program. This routine is based on a “modern style” of bodybuilding, pulling from the training methods utilized by many new-school bodybuilders and expert trainers such as Charles Glass, Hany Rambod, Mark Bell, Jay Cutler, Chris Bumstead, Phil Heath, Mike O’Hearn etc. For any given exercise, rep ranges will be between 6 and 20 and the number of sets will vary. We will be utilizing supersets, partial reps/half reps, and ¾ reps along with drop sets. The focus of this routine will be on a shorter range of motion, squeezing the muscle fibers, pumping blood into the muscle during each set, and utilizing a ‘robotic’ type approach to moving the weights from point A to B. Emphasis on leg development is also a large focus of this routine, each muscle group except for back and shoulders will be worked twice a week. Expect long workouts with attention to detail in every set to maximize muscle development and taxation through true isolation training.
